For these spirits it was the end, but for us it is the Beginning

Whether you believe or not there’s something here you should at least experience. By the end of Your time with us you’ll have lots of answers and an insight on ‘Ghosts and the Paranormal’.

Since 1960 there have been 10,000 reported locations of Real Hauntings in the UK. Most in private dwellings and most are Poltergeist - 150 cases pa and we can all thank King James 1st who was first to write on the subject of witchcraft / ghosts thus gaining national publicity and starting our curiosity...!

The ‘Ancient Headland’ is known for; St. Hilda’s as St. Hilda was appointed Abbess over all Monks and Nuns in 649 AD – Very revolutionary for these times.

Its also known for The ‘Hanging of The Monkey’ who they thought was a spy. But is it true or not, hear the amazing story and judge for yourself is it happening today?. . .

What about the famous King of Scotland and why is he very closely linked to this Ancient Headland?

Then in modern times the First town bombarded from the seas in both the First World War and the only one to 'fire its guns in anger' back - sustaining the ‘First’ Killings of Servicemen and civilians (many innocent children) on the UK mainland. What if we told you some are back!..

Count the real encounters as we've 50+ and then there's more still. . . .a Ghost on every corner!

‘The Most Haunted - Historic Peninsular in the UK’

The Ghostly goings on range from the friendly, noisy to the unknown. With a history dating back to 635AD to present there have been fair and unfair goings on. We can track unruly times, ill times and downright murder. Its known here that the saying ‘there’s a ghost on every corner’ means quite literally that.

And where are they?, well in the most unlikely of places. Are they real? We can factualize each account tracing more than you bargain for. At least three places here give real results, ones a cellar with a sealed tunnel and nuns. Another is an old bar with ‘Tricky Dicky’, but upstairs are two sealed off rooms recently uncovered and what a find. Its like steeping back in time along with its ghost. Then there’s the Gun Battlement, the FIRST death on British soil for WW1 both civilian and military. Let’s not forget the poltergeist activity and cold spots down in the tunnels. Of course St Hilda wouldn’t let us forget her, the daunting church dominates the sky line – but it must be said in 640AD she ran and kept together A monastery (unknown for a woman to be in such a position) and with Monks & Nuns together under one roof. The Town had a core centre called the ‘Crofts’ an area were it had its own dialect and ran by only five families (some 20% of the population then). Of course we can not miss the most famous story of all in Hartlepool ‘The Hanging Monkey’, a French spy or monkey – you decide !

‘Time Team’ excavated the area providing evidence for the Real History of the Ancient Headland, they found Bodies and Artefacts !

Steven Speilberg filmed 'The Monster House' ghosts in secret before launching the Monster house Animated Film (based on true events fronm the house)

ITV filmed the ghosts on the Heugh Gun Battery with Griff Rhys Jones for ??

Sky filmed the exorcism of a woman tormented in her death
